The Disconnection device for zero-load switching battery designs:
- Cost efficient, dual-pole‚ ‘unweldable' disconnection switch combined with pyrotechnical short circuit cut-off
- Double-Pole-Single-Throw, zero load-current, switch for up to 1,000 V battery systems
- Magnetic design prevents the emergence of levitation
- Short circuit disconnection integrated and triggered by ME SBS (up to 20,000 A)
The main advantage of the Disco is the significant cost down potential coupled to requirement constraint of no switching cycles under load.
