As an expert in printed and organic electronics our portfolio includes pressure sensors, temperature and capacitive sensors as well as flexible, flat heating or lighting elements. A great potential for saving weight in Automotive becomes apparent through printed heating elements or printed "cables". Furthermore, an integration of control elements as well as touch and proximity sensors or even printed LED systems open up new dimensions. Printed sensors are also particularly important in respect to e-mobility. During the charge and discharge cycle process, a rechargeable cell constantly changes its volume. This „breathing“ can be followed in real-time by pressure sensor foils. This way, individual control measures can be initiated to achieve a considerable extension of the battery life.
