Software for collision avoidance makes the road traffic safer!

Company profile

Our goal is to integrate a novel algorithm from artificial intelligence into the autonomous vehicle system control. The algorithm supports the driver to avoid collisions by prioritizing evasive maneuvers. Findings from behavioural economics and neuroscience indicate that for emergency situations, affective responses and the limited capabilities of human drivers need to be balanced with intelligent systems. This allows to dispense with the complex return of responsibility from the system to the human driver.
