Creating innovative, modern and at the same time sustainable forms of mobility for urban areas - with this in mind, Valentin Vodev, industrial designer and VELLO Managing Director, developed the first sketches for the VELLO Bike in 2013.

Together with Valerie Wolff, Managing Director Corporate Development, an important milestone was reached in 2014 and the first VELLO folding bike was presented. Since the start of production, VELLO has been inspiring the bicycle world with the patented innovation and design of the bikes. All VELLO Bikes are produced in Austria's first folding bike factory. VELLO Bike has won several design awards: Red Dot Design Award, European Product Design Award, Federal EcoDesign Award, Austrian State Award for Design.
