The roof is located at a high position in the car and provides therefore a good view on the road for long range sensor technologies that are needed for highway autonomous driving. The roof position also minimizes the exposure to splashing water and dirt as well as parking damages making it an ideal position. In the innovative Inalfa roof concept, stereovision cameras are integrated that generate a long range depth map based on Nodar software as well as a Lidar system from industry leader Luminar. This shows Inalfa's system responsibility in combination with expertise from partners in the field of ADAS and autonomous driving.
