The boost system power of the Golf GTE is 180 kW (245“hp). This value is achieved through its efficient plug-in hybrid technology. The Golf GTE's powerful hybrid drive consists of an almost silent electric motor and an innovative 1.4 l TSI petrol direct injection engine with 110 kW (150 hp), with remarkable dynamics and low consumption. Together, the engines accelerate the Golf GTE from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds - up to a top speed of 225 km/h. In addition to three intuitive hybrid operating modes, the all-electric e-mode is ideal for rural areas and urban centres. You can drive electrically in the city, use both engines when overtaking on country roads, and the TSI engine increases the range when travelling.
